O&Y Precision, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Maximum Oyar with his two sons Matt and Robbie. Prior to coming to the United States, the Oyar family lived in Sweden where Maximum attended technical school to learn precision manufacturing and machining. Upon coming to the US, Maximum went to work for a few smaller manufacturing companies and was key to their explosive growth and industry success. While he was working in the field, both of his sons were working on their machining education. In 2000 Maximum acquired his own CNC machine and started working on smaller projects on the side of his 9-5 manufacturing day job. From the success of his side business, he joined with his two sons and together they ventured out on their own establishing O&Y Precision.
We started doing quick turn prototyping – working closely with customers throughout the development phase of their products, providing working prototypes for each revision, and then setting them up for full production. Today the company boasts a 35,000 square foot facility with a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment and a growing number of long-term employees. We take pride in treating both our customers and employees with care and dignity. We have very low turnover in our manufacturing facility. Most of our employees have been with us more than 10 years. We take care of each other and stand behind our work.
